This book is intended
to provide an overview for the every day person of the many considerations
and options that might be available to them when planning for the security
of their special loved ones with a disability. Although the book necessarily
involves complex concepts, the authors have attempted to eliminate legalese
whenever possible. A Glossary is included to the appendix with terms defined
for the layperson and not for legal scholars. Case Law and regulations are
not cited since this book was not designed as a treatise but rather as a
vehicle to provoke thought and questions that a person can consider as they
enter the planning process about what they want and what they need to
achieve for their special loved one.
